Commitment to all clients
The safety of all clients is my #1 priority at Refuge Massage and I am fully committed to high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and covid precautions to the best of my ability. In my effort to provide you with a space where you can feel safe to let go, to heal, to feel better in the body, and to quiet the mind the following protocols and adjustments have been put into place:
· I have received both doses of the Moderna vaccine and am considered fully vaccinated at this point.
· I am currently limiting the amount of clients I work with in a given day and have reduced hours of operation. Due to this, all session
discounts such as student, service worker, etc. have been cancelled.
· I will refrain from working with clients if any symptoms of illness arise.
What I ask of all clients:
There is inherent risk in being in close contact with someone for an extended amount of time and so this responsibility lies not just with myself as the therapist, but also with each client. The actions you take as a client coming in for a session have great affect on the next client. Therefore, the following are requested for all clients:
·Update the client intake form.
·Read the following conditions and if you need to cancel your appointment, please do so within a 12 hour cancellation window.
Please do not book a session if you:
· Have been around anyone known to test positive for Covid-19.
· Are expressing symptoms of any illness or have been around anyone else that is.
· Are at high risk for complications if you do contract Covid-19.
· Have recently been lax with overall personal Covid precautions.
What to Expect
Arrival
Please text once you have arrived so that I can meet you at the front door 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment time. Expect a warm welcome, but know that hugs and handshakes are on hold for the time being.
Hand Washing & Hand Sanitizer
Upon arrival all clients will be directed to the nearest restroom to wash their hands thoroughly. Hand sanitizer is also available in the therapy room and throughout the building.
During the Session
As the client, it is up to you whether you prefer to wear a mask or not during the session.
Air Quality
A state of the art air filtration system with HEPASilent technology not only filters the entire air of the room once every 12 minutes of particles down to 0.1 microns but also kills 99% of germs. Though this has not yet been tested specifically for Covid-19, I definitely notice a quality difference of the air and feel it can only help.
After the Massage
Once your session has come to a close and you are dressed, you are more than welcome to use the restroom again and then I will guide you to the front door to return back to the world renewed, ready, and refreshed.
Sanitation
On top of enhanced cleaning between each session of all high touch surfaces utilizing approved disinfecting cleaners, each night the treatment room will undergo a UVC light / ozone sterilization treatment in order to sterilize all surfaces, rugs, and equipment.
